Comments: It’s been so long I actually got confused whether it was March 24th or March 25th that you died. But I’m a day late - it was the 24th.
We’re all so excited that Henry just got engaged to Grace, I’m not sure if it was timed to coincide with the anniversary of your passing, but it’s something very special that your son chose this day of all days to ask for her hand in marriage.
It’s also special because we’re a small family with no offspring other than Henry to pass on the Wyard name. So perhaps now if Henry and Grace decide to have their own family, I will have a great-nephew and you will indirectly have created a new Wyard line!
Still miss you, love Greg

Comments: Hi Leo (& family). I just found out today that you had passed, and I was very sorry to hear it. My condolences to your family. I just thought of you fondly today and looked you up and found this site. I'm not sure you even knew who I was... but I was a few years behind you at SRB, and for some reason today thought of a performance you did on stage in the auditorium. It might have been the grad show.
It was just you, your guitar, and a microphone. You said "I wish I had written this song" and then launched into Blackbird by the Beatles. It was beautiful and soulful and it took a lot of nerve to get up there alone. I admired it then and still do, 40 years later.
Rest in peace.

Comments: It’s become a habit to write here now, I’ll admit. It doesn’t actually reach you, but it matters to me to remember you, and I guess that’s good enough.

Comments: 20 years. So very hard to believe because memories pop up so often and always bring a smile.
Was talking to Vic the other day and sure enough, within a minute of mentioning your name, a "Remember when Leo..." story came up and we had a good laugh.
And seeing pictures of Henry and Paris, and seeing the adults they have become, remind me of how much you loved being a Dad and husband. Congrats Chummer! You did good!
Miss you lots.
Mike

Comments: The 20 year mark of your passing is here - can’t quite believe it, but time goes on and on. Sue had a great idea to ask people to post pictures of themselves raising a toast to you on a Facebook page, so that’s what we did. Cheers to you Leo, wherever you are, if only in our collective memories. I saw one of our old mutual friends Chris Gerley last night and we talked a lot about you - it felt good. You left a lasting impression on many people in this world and you are much loved. Greg
